  • I've picked up a new hobby: drawing! / I've started a new hobby—drawing!

2. what on has in mind 생각하고 있는 것

  • I told them what I had in mind.
  • Tell me what you have in mind, and we'll talk about it.

3. develope a knack for ~하는 요령이 생기다

  • You'll develop a knack for it eventually.
  • I developed a knack for giving presentations in English.
  • The key is to develop a knack for describing what you want.

4. set off on one's own 독립하다

  • My parents encoutraged me to set off on my own.
  • When children set off on their own, the parents often experience "empty nest syndrome."

5. aroung the same age as ~와 비슷한 나이의

  • Most of the members are around the same age as I am.
